Latest News: 7.8.05

Once again I've fallen in a rut of not updating the site. Sorry about that. Anyways, we have some exciting news to share with you!

Earlier this week we welcomed Mr. Potato Head, member number 50! Please make him feel welcome and keep inviting and promoting the site!

However, our biggest news by far is that we now have our own radio station. That's right, now you can listen to your favorite Christian hardcore, punk, hard rock, screamo, emo, and indie while surfing the web! Click the link to your left to find out more about PenguinCore Radio!

On the same note, we're going to need some support to run this station. It's up to you guys to help us out. Please look over this list and see if there is any way in which you could help us.

1. If you have a microphone and are willing to do a spot for us. Just say something creative, record it, save it as an mp3, and email or PM it to me.

2. If you post on other forums or run your own website and are willing to put the banner in your sig or whatever. Check out the Banner Exchange part of the site to find the PenguinCore Radio banner.

3.If you are in or know of a good independant band with quality music then please reccomend them to me.

4. If you have some time on your hands and are willing to email bands to ask for permission to play their songs. Before you do so, please contact me and let me know that you are doing so. Also, please remember to be courteous and respect the wishes of the artists.

5. If you are willing to take the big step and become a broadcaster. If you want to become a DJ, email or PM me and I'll give you the links for the downloads and I'll give you the lowdown about how to run the stuff.

If you can do any of these, please let me know and I'll give you the non-condensed lowdown on it all. I thank you all for supporting us and please don't forget to tune in!

Also we are proud to have fellow Admin Matt back on the boards with us. Please make him feel welcome as he has been away for quite some time.

If you know any member that is currently inactive, please drop them an email and let them know that we miss them and let them know about all the new stuff going on!

Archived News: 6.1.05

For most of us school is finally out now! Some of us will be taking trips, others working, and some just sitting at home, chilling out. We hope you have fun, whatever you're doing.

On that note, I'll say that Julie and I will be gone and/or very busy this summer, so I'm going to be appointing some Mods to make sure the site stays clean. Remember, if you see any rule-breaking on the forums, please report it to a Staff member by either PM or by pushing the "Report" button next to the offending post. We appreciate your cooperation a lot!

If you haven't noticed, I switched www.xrandompenguinx.net.tc to come here instead of to the Freewebs site. I'm not sure how soon that will actually switch over. If you wish to visit the Freewebs site, it's URL is http://www.freewebs.com/xrandompenguinx. Once again I'll say that it will still be active. I'm still building this one, so bear with me.
