Some Rules You Might Want To Remember
Yes, we have to have some rules and guidlines on the site. Some are to make others' experience on the forums better, but some are downright enforced because we do not want our forums overrun with junk. Thank you, and please remember these when posting and making a sig! Overall Rules
- Absolutely no profanity, that includes trying to get around the censors.
- No trolling, spamming, or flaming.
- Post your messages in the proper forums, and only post them once.
- No suggestive images or discussions.
- No two-party threads. If it can be done through PMs then spare us from reading about it.
- SPAM is hereby discouraged. SPAM is Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, and now off-topic is going to be included. All off-topic post (except in the random forum) will be either deleted or edited.
All site rules will be enforced and we will not hesitate to take action or punish as we choose.
Signature Guidlines
- You may have no more than 3 sig banners.
- Try to keep each sig banner no larger than 300x500.
- If you wish to have a larger sig (IE: 302x506 or something like that), PM an Admin and they will let you know if it's acceptable or not
- Sigs must be no longer than 12 lines. Banners 200x? or shorter count as 1 line, and banners 201x? or more count as two lines. Blank lines DO count as lines.
- Lyrics to non-Christian songs that may have offensive, explicit, or debatable lyrics are NOT to be put in sigs. If they are questionably so, or if you think they are clean, but they aren't Christian, please notifiy me BEFORE you post them in your sig.
- If we find a sig that breaks these rules, we will PM you, giving you 24 hours to edit it within the rules, or your sig will be punctually annihilated.

About the Forums
Started in early January of 2005 by Ryan, Julie, and Matt, xRandomPenguinx was a combination of the three founder's independant sites, Elvenpenguintoa, Random Forums, and xMattCorex respectively. The merge came after xMCx bogged down in technical difficulties and the trio got fed up with their previous hoster, ProBoards, and it's lameness. They then got together and Ryan made the site in a few minutes. By the end of May, even with Matt dropping out for a few months, the forums were nearly to 50 members and stull growing! Thank you for supporting and posting on xRandomPenguinx!

Well, we tend to talk a lot about Christian music (usually the harder or emo sides of it), but we also talk a lot about our Faith, sports, video games, and tons of random stuff. You just never know! |
